Graduated from the Faculty of Economy in Podgorica in 1976. Traineeship in Great Britain, Italy and Canada.
Diplomatic Academy within Ministry of Foreign Affairs of SFRY.

Professional career:

Journalist in TANJUG Agency, 1977 - 1978.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of SFRY, 1978.
Held posts in the SFRY Embassies in Pakistan (1979 – 1983) and Denmark (1987 – 1991).

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Government of Montenegro from 1991 to 1994.

Consul General in Bari, Italy, 1994 - 1999.

Head of Montenegrin Mission in Rome, 2000 - 2004.

Deputy Minister – Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the State Union of Serbia and Montenegro, 2004 - 2006.

Consul General in Shanghai, China – 2006.

Deputy Minister of Defense, Government of Montenegro, 2006-2007.

Head of Office for Sustainable Development – Government of Montenegro, 2008-2010.

Permanent Representative of Montenegro to UN in Geneva and Ambassador in Switzerland and Lichtenstein, 2010 -2015.

Head of Diplomatic Protocol MFA of Montenegro, 2015.

Other facts:

Most important “side” activity – environment protection and sustainable development. Participated at the first ecological summit in Rio de Janeiro in 1992. One of the founders (2001) and board member of the Greens of Montenegro. Currently serving as a Member of Board of the Center for Sustainable Development (UNDP and Government of Montenegro).
